I've always been fortunate enough to belong to amazing churches. I grew up in the Nazarene church. I grew up with my best friend being in the church and had a firm foundation of the knowledge of Christ at United Church of the Nazarene. In 2003, we switched churches to Central COTN, and later Center Pointe, to which I was apprehensive at first, but ended up loving it even more. ((Luckily I had the same best friend to help me get through the changes)). When I went off to Ft Myers, I tried 2-3 churches and walked into an Assemblies church that I just immediately felt connected to. I went there all 4 years I was there.
I moved back home for good over the summer last year. I attended Center Pointe for a while, but I knew that this was no longer the place I was meant to be. So, I decided to start church searching, expecting the same, easy-go-lucky experience that I had before... WRONG!
Here I am, a year later, and I am just not content. I began reading Rick Warren's 40 days of Purpose and it was a real eye opener that I not only need to attend church, but become part of the church. I need this for SoO many different reasons. [If you haven't read that book, now is a better time than ever!]. I've tried so many, but I just have not found the place I feel I belong. I've been regularly attending two churches, and they are excellent churches that really have the mission of the church down. They are absolutely opposite of each other. If I could find a mix between the two, I would be golden.
I have been praying about this journey for a long while. If you would join me in praying that I find the church that I am meant to be at., that would be great! Also, if you have any church suggestions, let me know!!
Thanks friends :)

Book Review
I LoVe, LoVe, LoVe reading!! Since I drive an hour to and from Daytona Beach everyday, I tend to listen to a lot of audio books. As great as they are, there's just nothing like a good ol' fashioned book.
While on the cruise, I got to read a book that I stole my mom's dresser (literally!). It was called I, Saul.
"From multi-million copy best-selling novelist Jerry Jenkins comes a compelling international thriller that conveys you from present-day Texas to a dank Roman dungeon in A.D. 67, then down the dusty roads of ancient Israel, Asia, and back to Rome.
A young seminary professor, Augustine Knox, is drawn into a deadly race to save priceless parchments from antiquities thieves and discovers a two- thousand-year old connection with another who faced death for the sake of the truth. I, Saul consists of two riveting adventures in one, transporting you between the stories of Augustine Knox and Saul of Tarsus.
Filled with political intrigue, romance, and rich historical detail, I, Saul is a thrilling tale of loyal friendships tested by life-or-death quests, set two millennia apart, told by a master storyteller."
I realllllly enjoyed this book I stayed up late into the night to make sure that I finished it on my 3 day cruise -- and I did! It was captivating from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. Lucky for me, my mom is as much as a reader as I am, so she didn't mind just lounging and reading!
The author, Jerry Jenkins, is the same person who wrote the Left Behind series. I had never actually read anything of his, but I've jumped right on his bandwagon! He does a great job of keeping you interested in the story.
The story ended in a cliffhanger of sorts. The actual plot of the I, Saul had a good resolution, but he set it up beautifully for the next book, I, Paul, which, sadly, doesn't have a release date yet!!
Overall though, I would definitely recommend reading this book. It's a great book for girls and guys :)

Vacay!
If you've known me for any length of time, you *may* know that I have a massive slight obsession with cruising. Not just any cruising though... I am a Royal Caribbean girl, no doubt about it...
So, what do I love about cruising...
Well, obviously, the FOOD! If only I could explain my love for the caesar salad... That's right. Salad. I don't know why, but I just LoVe it! I am made fun of it often (join in, please!), but I do not care.
What else do I love?! The VIEWS!
But mostly, I love the company. I've had some pretty awesome roommates, and every time I go, I feel like I'm the luckiest person alive. Being out in the middle of the sea, thinking of how blessed I am, is one of the most refreshing feelings in the world...
For the first time in my working life, I am taking an actual VACATION DAY to sail the to the Bahamas. Mom and I are headed for the high seas on the Enchantment on Friday to sail away for the weekend. I am so excited :) I'm really looking forward to the time to relax, refresh, read, and spend some time listening to God while sailing on His most beautiful creation.
Any good book ideas?!?

Welcome!!
I've ventured into blogging before, but perhaps third time's a charm!
The name is based off my favorite verse -- John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
For an intro:
I have a dog, Nutmeg, who lives with her friends Cinnamon, Shadow, and Taz
I have three wonderful brothers: Mark, Jon, and Ben and my wonderful parents :)
That's me at my graduation. I graduated in August 2013, became a certified PA in September, and started my first job in November :)
Hope you enjoy my blog as I write about work, church, friend, family, dating, books, and so on... Stay tuned!
